Here is my friend Tiffany’s Mazda6. 2004 2.3 5-speed, original engine and transmission.
My favorite car there:

Pretty impressive on that orange one. Looks a bit beat down though.

Jesus, Mazda hit it out of the park with the first gen 6. I’ve driven my dad’s 2.3 with the stick and it’s a hoot! Light, fun direct steering and is a fantastic looking car. Nothing but good things to say.

That ‘Atenza’ with the Made in Japan sticker isn’t fooling anyone. It’s clearly a US-spec 6, which was built in Michigan, with an Atenza badge. :/

Yup, said the same thing myself.

Had it been a Mazdaspeed6, that sticker would’ve made a lot more sense, as those were only built in Japan.

And the 2014+ 6. The 2009 through 2012s were still built in Michigan, too.

Yep. Flat Rock Assembly (AutoAlliance International, at the time the 6 was built there), along side the Mustang. The 6’s place has since been taken by the current Fusion.

I’m pretty sure I’ve met that guy with the red speed3 before, are you in the Indy area?

The meet was in Louisville, Kentucky. But he was from the Indy area. We had a joint meet up between the Indianapolis Mazda Club and our Mazda club.

Up until recently, it looked really good. She needs to take the wheels back to stock (as opposed to painted as they are now - the paint is chipping badly) and clear up the headlights.
